Özet

There are many different techniques used today in the improvement of soils. However, many of them contain components that are harmful to the environment. Improvement of soils with MICP (Microbially Induced Calcite Precipitation)

emerges as an environmentally friendly technique. Our study investigated the effects of different liquid media and application techniques on soil improvement using the MICP technique. It was determined that different media were effective on bacterial densities. With the increase of the application time, better results  were obtained in soil improvement. It has been determined that the application times and different media are effective in improving the MICP technique.
