Özet

Chemical effects on the L X-ray production cross-sections (sigma(Lalpha), sigma(Lbeta), sigma(Lgamma), sigma(Ll) and sigma(Leta)) and L-i/L-alpha (i = alpha, beta, l, eta) X-ray intensity ratios for Hg, Pb, and Bi compounds were investigated. The samples were excited by 59.54 keV gamma-rays from a Am-241 annular radioactive source. L X-rays emitted by samples were counted by a Si(Li) detector with resolution 157 eV at 5.9 keV. We observed chemical effect on the L X-ray production cross-sections and L-i/L-alpha X-ray intensity ratios for Hg, Pb and Bi compounds. The experimental values have been compared with the theoretically calculated values of pure elements.
