Özet

The aim of this research is to examine the organizational commitment levels of music teachers working in different educational institutions. Organizational commitment is the individual's willingness to strive to achieve organizational goals by adopting organizational goals and values, and to maintain his presence in the organization. The sample of the research consists of a total of 185 participant teachers from different gender and age levels working in educational institutions in Konya and Karaman Cities. The Organizational Commitment Scale-26 short form was applied to the participants. According to the research findings, it was found that the organizational commitment of music teachers was at a high level. In addition, the organizational commitment of the participants differs significantly according to gender, age and school type (p<0.05). The organizational commitment of female teachers and music teachers in the 30-49 age group was found to be high. There was no significant difference in the organizational commitment of music teachers in terms of school type (p>0.05).
