Özet

Ll, L alpha, L beta, and L gamma X-ray production cross sections have been measured for the elements Yb, Hf, W, Os, Hg, Tl, ph, Th and U for 59.54 keV gamma-rays from a 100 mCi Am-241 altered source. The average L-shell fluorescence yields have been deduced using the experimentally measured cross section values and the theoretical photoionization cross sections. The experimental results for Xray production cross sections (Le, L alpha, L beta, L gamma) and average L-shell fluorescence yields are compared with experimental values, theoretical prediction and semiempirical fits. The agreements are reasonably good.
