Özet

Analysis by energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence (EDXRF) spectroscopy of A kale, Balkaya and Sutkans coal in Erzurum (Turkey) has been carried out for the determination of their elemental composition, using an annular Am-241 and Fe-55 radioisotope source. The characteristic K X-rays of the different elements were detected with Si(Li) and Ge(Li) detectors. The analysis were performed on coal samples and the results were compared.
