Özet

Although there is limited information about Ya'qubi in resources, this information has been interpreted by researchers. This case, thereby, has caused some of the interpretations to be considered as general opinion. By reason of Ya'qubi's biography, the possibility of being Shi'ite for Tahirid dynasty, which is one of the states he served for, and his works it will be dwelt on whether Ya'qubi was Shi'ite or not. Before this opinion is discussed, the current information about Ya'qubi's biography, the states he served for and his works.
