Özet

ABSTRACT: Purpose: This descriptive research was conducted to determine the teamwork and job satisfaction of nurses. Materials and Methods: The population of the study was formed by the nurses working in Atatürk University Research Hospital. The sampling method did not use in this study and 164 nurses who volunteered to participate the study constitutes the sample of the study. Research data were collected by using the socio-demographic form, Job Satisfaction Scale and Team Approach Form. Frequency, percentage, mean, Kruskal-Wallis test and Mann Whitney U tests were used to evaluate the data. Results: 51.8% of the nurses participating in the study were in the 20-29 age range, 50.6% were single, 38% were undergraduate and 59.2% chose the nursing profession willingly. The total score of the Team Approach Form was 60.49 ± 9.86, and the total score of the job satisfaction scale was 130.82 ± 21.28. It has been determined that the most important factor affecting the job satisfaction of nurses was the management problems. A statistically significant difference was found between the nurses' job satisfaction scale and team approach form with demographic variables (p <0.05). Conclusion: It was concluded that the job satisfaction scores of the nurses were at a good level above the average, and the teamwork was low. Keywords: Teamwork, Job Satisfaction, Nursing
