Biography
Sefa Uçar was born in 1990 in Erzurum, Türkiye. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Chemistry from Atatürk University in 2013 and 2015, respectively. In May 2018, he was appointed as a Research Assistant in the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, at Atatürk University. He completed his Ph.D. in September 2022 at Atatürk University under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Arif Daştan.
Between October 2023 and October 2024, he conducted postdoctoral research for one year at The Ohio State University under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Jovica Badjić. In 2025, he was appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry (Division of Organic Chemistry), Faculty of Science, at Atatürk University.
