Abstract:

The aim of this research is to examine the effects of different types of simulation exercises on vertical jump and ski jump distance in ski jumpers. Method: Athletes are divided into three different exercise groups. Fixed platform simulation, wheeled platform simulation and indoor simulation exercises were applied in these groups. The ski jump distances were determined by recording the best jumping distances of the athletes before and after the exercise program. Body composition measurements were measured with the Tanita TBF 300, vertical jump heights were measured with the hands on the waist and hands-free optojump device, while the foot sole pressure values were measured with the WInshoe Medicapteurs device placed in the shoes at the beginning and end of the study. In order to determine the effect of three different exercises determined on the dependent variable, TwoWay ANOVA (3x2) in Repeated Measures was performed. In the statistical analysis of the data obtained in the study, the margin of error was taken as p<.05. For all analyzes of the data, data analysis package program for social sciences was used. Findings: No explanation was found between the groups in the pressure values in both positions.Before leaving the group, they were evaluated in the pre-post test values or in the waist vertical view test (p<0,05). Hands are not a differential function found between groups in vertical communities at the waist. However, they found changes in pre-posttest values without group separation. Vertical changes in the position are not positive. It is transforming the changes in the values in the vertical directions constructed in the pre-post test values without leaving the group. It has been determined that the exercises performed show better results for the jumping distance of the athletes than the weaving fixed and wheel exercise. Result: Statistically, in terms of jump distance, the simulation of the fixed and wheeled platform was more effective than the indoor simulation. In terms of foot pressure values, the indoor simulation study has a more meaningful value (p<0,05).
