Abstract:
The object, as the basic form that constitutes the essence of the formal world and
strengthens the bond that people establish with the environment, takes place in art with its
representation and real uses. While the representation of the object has found many figurative
and symbolic meanings in the process from the cave paintings to the present, The use of the
real object has ceased to be a representation in art and has brought art to a different dimension
with the use of the original. By identifying the perception of the object with its imaginary
position, new production styles have been created with different elements and interpretations
in every art production.
The use of the object in art in the changing social order has changed the perspective of
the artists with their new searches. Artists have attributed new forms of expression to the object
apart from its own meaning and function. The object began to be used on the surface during the
Cubism period and created the first examples in art in its simple form. Objects that exist in the
conceptual dimension with meanings and expressions attributed to their plain state, have
revealed the re-existence of the object on the screen with digital data, first with the camera and
then with the digital environment, in the contemporary period, with the effect of technology.
