Tabriz International Award for Innovation and Creativity in Crafts conducted during the Tabriz International Festival of Arts, Heritage and Creativity which took place in Tabriz, Iran, on 8-12 May 2015. The festival was organized by IRCICA and Tabriz University for Islamic Arts in cooperation with the Islamic Culture and Relations Organizations of Iran. It includes the winning entries in the fields of: miniature painting; sewing and embroidery; traditional costumes; carpets and rugs; ornamentation; Qur’an binding and illumination; marbled paper; mushrabiya; stucco colored glass; pottery and ceramics; silver and metal crafts; engraving. The festival gathered designers and craftspeople in pavilions forming a craft village where they displayed their works, tools and techniques. Awards amounting to $60.000 were distributed in ten Craft Topics.
