Özet

Intrathoracic neurogenic tumors are frequently located in posterior mediastinum and paravertebral sulcus. Intraparenchimal location has been reported quite rare. Schwannoma was the most commonly reported intrapulmonary neurogenic tumor. A 33 year-old male patient with no complaints was admitted to our clinic because of an abnormal image on direct chest X-ray. A round, well-shaped intraparenchimal mass lesion located in the left inferior lobe was detected on computed thorax tomography. The mass was delivered with left thoracotomy, pneumostomy and it was seen that the mass originated from segmental bronchi. Histopathological examination revealed that it was a neurogenic tumor arising from epineurium. It was stained S-100 protein and vimentin positive, desmin, smooth muscle actin, striated muscle actin and myoglobin negative in immunohistochemical staining. In the light of these findings, it was dignosed as benign neurogenic tumor/neurofibroma. In this article, we presented a rare case of primary bronchial intrapulmonary neurofibroma and the surgical treatment.
