Özet

Ameloblastoma is a benign osseous tumor fairly studied in the literature. The histogenesys is uncertain and upper jaw is an unusual site. The evolution is slow, in contrast with the high destruction's potential and capacity of infiltration. These kinds of ameloblastoma are more aggressive than mandible and malignance lesions are related. The treatment is varied, consisting since enucleation, khymio or radiotherapy, until bone resection. To obtain success, earlier diagnosis is essential. Thus, the aim of this study is explain a case of upper jaw ameloblastoma with a seven years follow-up that some parameters like spatial delimitation, earlier detection and the patient's co-operation, leaded to an appropriate resolution.
