Abstract

Milk yield and fertility are important two parameters for the profitability of dairy operations. Conducting these two parameters in optimization is a key point of profitability. Even if there seems to be a negative relationship among themselves, this situation can be adjusted with good care, feeding, and good management. A calf that will be obtained per year means both make a profit from fertility and the milk yield reach the peak. But, these two parameters have been affected by many factors. Also on milk yield has been a negative effect as a result of the negative effect of the many factors on fertility. The factors affecting fertility and milk yield were examined respectively in this review. Keywords: Cattle, fertility, stress, lactation, diseases.
