Özet

This study was conducted to determine the comparative effects of SAS and SAP supplementation into diets of commercial laying hens on intestinal villus height, intestinal microflora, egg quality indices and performance. Soft Acid S (SAS) includes 60% formic acid, 20% propionic acid and 20% soft acid and Soft Acid P (SAP) consist of 70% propionic acid, 5% citric acid and 25% soft acid. The experiment was carried out with 108 Lohmann Brown Commercial hens, 45 weeks old, allocated to 3 groups of 12 replications, each containing 3 hens. The treatment groups employed were: 1) Control (Basal = B); 2) B + 2.5 kg SAS per ton feed; 3) B + 2.5 kg SAP per ton feed.
