For example, as a result of the assaults of Greek Armies, fires, invasions, economic crises aggravated further the lives of people. The war ended later in the Western Anatolian front. The military fights were experienced between Turkish Army and Greek Armies, supported by the UK. Since Turkey won the war, Turkey signed the Armistice of Mudanya instead of the Armistice of Mudros and signed the Lausanne Peace Treaty instead of Sevres Peace Treaty. However, in post war period, Turkey had a construction, settlement and sheltering problem. This study deals with how the redevelopment, sheltering and life safety needs of the villages and the cities of Western Anatolia that were exposed to fires, disasters and invasions were discussed with the bill of law about the Bank of Damage Victims in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. In this bill of law, derelicts of minorities who migrated from Turkey was aimed to be given to the war victims. However, these victimizations were made a current issue by the deputies of Izmir, Manisa, Aydın and Mugla. The other current issue in this period was the settlement of exchanged who came to Turkey within the scope of the Population Exchange Convention of the Lausanne Peace Treaty. Furthermore, since the Ministry of Exchange, Construction and Settlement dealed with the settlement of exchanged, adequate assistance could not be made for the war victims in the Western Anatolia. This study is important in terms of indicating the social, economical and environmental situation of Western Anatolia in post war period.
