Abstract

The comparative effects of some bismuth compounds on oxidative stress and genotoxicity were assessed in human blood cells in vitro. Tested doses were 0.75, 1.5, 3 and 5 mu g/mL of bismuth trioxide (Bi2O3) triphenyl bismuth (TPB), colloidal bismuth subcitrate (CBS), and bismuth subnitrate (BSN).
