Bitki sinyali terimi, bitki hücrelerinin
çevrelerini algıladıkları birçok yolu ve bitki içindeki hücre-hücre sinyal
etkileşimini kapsar. Bu ders öğrencilere bitkilerin çevresel sinyalleri nasıl
algıladığı ve dönüştürdüğü ve farklı zorluklara nasıl uyum sağladıkları
hakkında genel bir bakış sunmayı amaçlamaktadır. Ders, öğrencilere bitki sinyal
iletiminin moleküler mekanizmalarının eleştirel analizi ve anlaşılması için metodolojik
araçlar sağlayacaktır. Ders içeriği, doktora adaylarına yönelik ders
konularından oluşmaktadır. Moleküler biyoloji, biyokimya ve fizyolojide temel
bilgiler gereklidir. Bitkilere ilişkin temel bilgi bir artıdır ancak zorunlu
değildir.
The term plant signaling
encompasses the many ways that plant cells perceive their environment, as well
as cell-cell signaling within the plant. This course aims to provide the
students with an overview of how plants perceive and transduce environmental signals
and how they adapt to the different challenges. The course will provide the
students the methodological tools for the critical analysis, and the
understanding, of the molecular mechanisms of plant signal transduction. The
course content consists of lectures targeted at doctoral candidates. Basics in
molecular biology, biochemistry, and physiology are required. Basic knowledge
of plants is a plus but not mandatory.
