Özet:

 Abstract This study is concerned in dealing with the political Moroccan development towards the Palestinian issue from 1967 , the year by which Israel had occupied the whole Palestinian land , until 1982 which formed a land mark in the history of the Palestinian Issue , i.e., the driving out of the Palestinian Resistance from Beirut . This period has included important events in the course of the Palestinian Issue through which the attitudes of several countries, the most important of which are the Arab countries, had been clarified. Although the kingdom of Morocco is one of these countries , yet it didn’t get the sufficient historical investigation the thing which inspired the researcher to deal with this subject to give the kingdom its due in full . This study aims at the introduction of the Moroccan attitudes towards the Palestinian Issue through the study of the Moroccan official policy in addition to the public attitudes, and the subjection of these attitudes to the analysis and investigation about the contrastive in it. The study also analyzed the reasons for the change in these attitudes. The study has dealt with the Moroccan attitudes within the range of the official Arab policy through the Arab Summit Conferences , and the role of Morocco in establishing the Organization of the Islamic Conference after the Fire of Al-Aqsa Mosque . Moreover, the study has talked about the period from the war of 1973 to the events of Lebanon in 1976, and what these events brought about of Morocco’s military intervention together with the other Arab countries, and the embracement of the Arab summit conferences by Morocco, and Morocco’s attitude towards the civil war in Lebanon. The study has dealt with the role of Morocco in the Egyptian-Israeli negotiations (1977-1979) and the approximation of attitudes the thing which resulted in signing Camp David Treaty. The study has also tried to analyze the Moroccan contradictory attitude towards it. It has also introduced the Jerusalem Committee and the reasons for King Hassan the Second’s taking on its leadership, and the role which it is entrusted to . Moreover , The study has dealt with the events of the early 1980s which included some serious events such as the announcement of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, the Prince Fahd`s initiative and the Israeli invasion to the South of Lebanon, which led to the withdrawal of the Palestinian fighters from Lebanon in 1982. Finally, it has dealt with the “Fez Summit Conference” which was held in 1982 and the Peace initiative that resulted in , and which was called “The Fez Initiative”.
