X-ray fluorescence analysis of trace elements in Mazi mountain ore

Özet
EDXRF analysis of trace elements of ores from the Mazi mountain town of Mardin, Turkey, was carried out by using a standard addition method. In the present study, 59.5 keV photons emitted by an annular Am-241 radioactive source were used to excite the characteristic X-rays of various elements present in the ore. The concentrations of Sr, Mo, In, Sn, Sb, I and Ba were measured in different parts of the Mazi mountain.
