Performance anxiety is an important anxiety problem that affects people of almost all ages and abilities. Stage fright, also known as musical performance anxiety, is a negative factor in the teaching of music lessons. In this study, the relationships between secondary school students' music lesson achievements and attitudes and musical performance anxiety were investigated in terms of some variables. The research was carried out on 280 students studying in different secondary schools in Mersin. In the research, data were collected with musical performance anxiety and attitude scales towards Music Lesson, and Music Lesson Achievement Test. According to the research findings, no significant difference was found between the musical performance anxiety of secondary school students and their gender. However, there were significant differences in attitudes towards music lessons and lesson outcomes according to gender variable. According to the research findings, musical performance anxiety of secondary school students differs according to the class variable. However, no significant difference was found in the attitudes towards the music lesson and the lesson outcomes according to the class variable. There was a negative correlation between students' musical performance anxiety, music lesson achievement and attitudes. It has been observed that students with high and positive musical achievements and attitudes have low musical performance anxiety.
