In this study, one of the heavy industry companies, Aşkale Çimento A.Ş. The
production line from raw material extraction to packaging was examined. The obstructions,
malfunctions, bottlenecks and machine maintenance observed in the current production line
were handled as a whole and the whole system was tried to be analyzed. According to the
analysis, it is aimed to create an alternative system to the existing system. To examine the
behavior of the system, the behavior of each element in the production line has been studied.
The production line system was created using the simulation program. Virtual reality was
added to the production line by modeling studies with simulation. In addition, the data of the
simulation model obtained were compared with each other. It has been shown that the
production line can work more efficiently by creating an alternative system instead of the
existing system. The results of both models developed allow us to foresee and observe the
systematic behaviors of the scenarios for the strategic decisions desired to be taken in the
cement factory where this application is made. Cost estimation studies have been made by
analyzing the reaction and trend of the production line as a result of the project we want to
realize in line with our purpose
