Özet

Apart from the official archive documents, the sources that families keep and save are also important for the history researches. One of such valuable sources belongs to Ali Baba Zaviye Foundation in Sivas. The primary aim of this study is to publish the documents belong to this Zaviye which had been important in Ottoman State in terms of religion, economics, and social influences. Thus, the documents supplied by Mehmet Tahir Ezgi, a descendant of Ali Baba, and by Tahir Aslandas, Director of the Security, Construction, and to Keep Zaviye Alive Association, are being published through historical methodology, and will be presented to the benefit performance and service of the people concerned.
