The study is thought to contribute to the sociology of literature in the sense that it presents the chronological change of woman's social status in Kyrgyzstan during the Soviet Union. Findings from the content analysis suggest that due to the changes in the political and social structure, over time, a limit in reproducing the human was determined and this situation led to the development of a particular type of female and behaviour patterns related to this in the collective memory of Kyrgyzstan.
