Zygmunt Bauman, one of the most important sociologists of the 20th and 21st cen turies, emphasizes that in the new post- modern period, which he calls the liquid modern period, situations such as genocide, war, and massacre continue without any change and that this situation is in line with the basic principles of modernism. The thinker claims that the concept of dehumanization is currently valid and that the weak are destroyed as a result of people disconnected from morality using tech nology incredibly well. Postmodern massacres and wars are based on the absolute rightness of the strong with rational justifications. This study, which conducts a literature review and descriptive analysis, tries to understand postmodern wars from the perspective of Zygmunt Bauman
