Özet

Air pollution has been problem for a long time for urban and agriculture areas, but recently it has became a social problem. Since atmospheric pollution has harmful effects on humans and plants, it takes public attention nowadays. The purpose of this research paper was to determine the effects of simulated acid rain (SAR) on yield and yield components of the tomato plant. Solutions possessing 2.5, 3.5, 4.5 and control (5.9) pHs with three days intervals have been sprayed total 27 times. At the end of research, it has been concluded that solutions with low pHs had negative effect on plant development and yield. It has been shown that there were necrotic lesions on leaves.
