Öz: Türkiye’ de turizm sektörünün verileri kullanılarak oran analizi ve TOPSİS analizi yoluyla sektörün finansal performansının değerlendirilmesi yapılmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu amaçla Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Merkez Bankasından alınan turizm sektörüne ilişkin 1996-2016 yıllar arası sektörün ortalama oran verileri kullanılarak likidite, finansal yapı, aktivite ve karlılık oranları açısından durum değerlendirmesi yapılmaya çalışılmıştır. Elde edilen bu veriler ile TOPSİS analizi yapılmıştır. Analizin etkilerini değerlendirirken 1999, 2000, 2001 yıllarındaki ekonomik krizlerin ve 2008 global ekonomik krizinin 2009’da ki sektöre yansımalarına bakılmıştır. Bu bağlamda yıllar itibariyle, sektörün likidite ve finansal yapı oranları yönünden iyi olduğu, aktivite ve karlılık oranları yönünden ise olumlu sonuçlar elde edilemediğini gözlemlenmiştir. Sektöre 2008 global ekonomik krizinin olumsuz yansımasının 2009 yılında olduğu görülmüştür. TOPSİS analizine göre yapılan performans sıralamasında 1999, 2000, 2001,2008, yıllarındaki krizlerin sektörü olumsuz etkilemediğini görmekteyiz. Performans sıralamasında ekonomik krize rağmen 2001 yılı sektörün en iyi performans gösterdiği yıl olmuştur. TOPSİS analizine göre performansı en iyi ilk üç yıl 2001, 2011, 1999 yılları olmuştur. Elde edilen verilerden sektörün kriz yıllarındaki başarılı kriz yönetiminin performans sonuçlarına olumlu yansıdığı görülmektedir. Evaluation of the Financial Performance of Tourism Sector with Ratio Analysis and Topsis Method Abstract: In this study, the evaluation of the financial performance of the tourism sector in Turkey have been studied using ratio analysis and TOPSIS analysis. For this purpose, financial structure, activity and profitability ratios have been studied in terms of the assessment of the situationusing the tourism sector liquidity ratios using average data of Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey for the years 1996-2016 . TOPSIS analysis was performed with these data. While evaluating the effects of the analysis, the economic crises of the years 1999, 2000 and 2001 and the reflections of the 2008 global economic crisis on the sector were examined. In this context, the results were obtained that the results were not achieved in terms of the ratios of liquidity and financial structure of the sector and the results of activity and profitability. It shows that the negative impact of the 2008 global economic crisis on the sector was in 2009. According to TOPSIS analysis, it can be seen that the crises in the years 1999, 2000, 2001,2008 did not affect the sector negatively. Despite the economic crisis in 2001, it was the year in which the sector performed best. According to TOPSIS analysis, performance was best for the first three years 2001, 2011, 1999. From the data obtained, it is seen that the sector is positively reflected in the performance results of the successful crisis management in crisis years.
