Özet

Real name of Zikrî is Abdulgani Oǧuz. He was born in 1873. He started his education in his village and continued in the city of Erzurum. Then he received Islamic mysticism education. He cited poems on subject of religion and Sufism. He received nickname "Zikrî." He wanted to collect his poems in a book. However, such a book is non-existent now. His poems spread in oral tradition. Zikrî died in 1939.
