This study utilized a microdataset obtained from the Domestic Violence Against Women Survey in Türkiye. This dataset included data from 2054 and 4404 women living in rural and urban areas, respectively. Using binary logistic regression analysis, factors influencing women’s exposure to physical violence were determined according to their place of residence (rural, urban). This study revealed that women who are older, in a higher income bracket, have a higher education level than their spouse/partner, have been cheated on, or have experienced emotional and sexual violence are at increased risk of physical violence from their spouses/partners.
