Architecture biennials are event areas where architectural innovations are exhibited, new ideas are discussed and
experimental studies are carried out. Architecture and design biennials, which have increased in number around the
world in recent years, also bring together designers with new ideas. Biennials, which take place every two years,
produce discourses in the field of architecture and, on the other hand, produce products related to discourses. One of
these biennials, the Chicago Architecture Biennial, was established to create a platform for discussing architectural
projects and spatial experiences that show how creativity and innovation can change the living experience. Chicago
Architecture Biennials have different exhibition styles. Exhibitions can have two-dimensional and three-dimensional
expressions created for visual impression. Exhibition styles in biennials; It is observed that the discourses, the
perception desired to be created, and the use of technology and materials differ and develop depending on the changes
over time. The aim of this study is to investigate the exhibition and presentation methods in the Chicago Architecture
Biennials and to evaluate the change/development in the exhibition styles over the historical process and their reasons
through the biennial discourses. In this context, exhibitions at the Chicago Architecture Biennials will be researched
and possible exhibition style changes will be discussed comparatively.
