Fizik Bölümü, Erzurum,Türkiye,
K-shell X-ray transition rates
for the elements Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Se, Mo, Ag, Gd and Dy have been measured
at the excitation energy of the 59.54 keV -rays from an 241Am radioactive source of strength
100 mCi. A comparison is made of the experimental results with calculated
values obtained using theoretical detector efficiency values. Experimental
results have been compared with the theoretical values and the other available
experimental results.
Keywords: EDXRF, intensity ratio, transition rates, detection
efficiency.
