MIDDLE EAST INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON CONTEMPORARY SCIENTIFIC STUDIES-VII, Bayrut, Lübnan, 3 - 04 Mart 2022, ss.453-462
In this study we aimed to determined molecular marker polymorphism in the IGFALS (InsulinLike Growth Factor-Bınding Protein, Acıd-Labile Subunit) gene which effected the milk
production, growth and yield performance traits of cattle. We are used as material the Simental
breed DNA samples. PCR analysis were made for the four different genes region and then DNA
samples were selected randomly and sequence analysis were applied to some of the samples in
each different gene region and were defined its polymorphic regions.
In the result of DNA sequence analysis for the 492 bp long gene including the 1st exon region
of the IGFALS gene, the g.1368491 A/G polymorphism was detected.
