Özet

For this purpose, in our study, we analyzed the effect oil extracts of Thymus vulgaris which is known to have antimicrobial properties, and Hypericum perforatum. In the study, each was groupped five, consisting of eight rats, and a total of 40 Sprague Dawley male rats were used. A rat from out of group was applied 1*1 steel plate after heating in boling water for 5 minutes. 2mg / kg paracetamol added to the drinking water of all animals for 3 days. Afterward, the burnt area was infected with Pseudomonas aeruginosa by subcutaneous injection 24 hours later. While the three group was applied the Thymus vulgaris oil, Hypericum perforatum oil, Thymus vulgaris-Hypericum perforatum oil. According to our results, there was no significant difference between vascular endothelial growth factor. In this respect, in our study, we determined that the use of Thymus vulgaris and Hypericum perforatum oil together in second-degree burn injuries in rats may create an alternative treatment recommendation in terms of histopathological, microbiological and vascular endothelial growth factor cytokine amount.
