The differential coherent scattering cross sections of 59.54 keV gamma -rays in Ag, In, and Sn were experimentally determined at different angles, ranging from 40 degrees to 135 degrees, by the earlier method of Simsek. The measured cross sections were compared with the experimental values in the literature and with the numerically calculated results using S-matrix theory for available cases. Form factors at the momentum transfer 1.644 less than or equal to x less than or equal to 4.442 Angstrom (-1) were extracted from the measured cross sections. The results are discussed in the light of the predictions of form factor formalisms.
