Araştırmada hayat bilgisi dersi kazanımları doğrultusunda hazırlanan infografiklere dayalı güvenli teknoloji kullanımı eğitiminin ilkokul 3. sınıf öğrencileri üzerindeki etkisi incelenmiştir. Nitel araştırma yöntemi çerçevesinde yürütülen çalışmanın desenini sonuç odaklı değerlendirme araştırması oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada 20 ilkokul 3. sınıf öğrencisine yer verilmiş, öğrencilerle toplam 5 hafta süren uygulamalı bir eğitim yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın verileri öğrenci günlükleri ve yarı yapılandırılmış görüşmelere dayalı olarak toplanmıştır. Betimsel veri analizinden elde edilen araştırmanın bulguları üç temel hususa odaklanmıştır. Bunlar; öğrencilerin teknoloji kavramına yönelik bilgi ve deneyimleri, öğrencilerin teknolojinin güvenli kullanımına yönelik bilgi ve deneyimleri, öğrencilerin teknolojinin tasarım amaçlı kullanımına yönelik bilgi ve deneyimleridir. Araştırma sonuçları infografiklere dayalı güvenli teknoloji kullanımı eğitiminin öğrencilere teknoloji kavramına yönelik daha bütüncül bir bakış açısı kazandırdığını ortaya koymuştur. Eğitim, öğrencilerin teknolojinin güvenli kullanımına yönelik mevcut bilgilerini genişletmelerini sağlamıştır. Öğrenciler bu süreçte en fazla teknoloji kullanımı sırasında beden sağlığının korunması hususunda farkındalık kazanmışlardır. Ayrıca öğrenciler infografiklere dayalı güvenli teknoloji kullanımı eğitimi doğrultusunda tasarım kavramına yönelik ön bilgilerini deneyimlerle zenginleştirme olanağı bulmuşlardır.
The study investigated the effect of safe technology use training based on infographics prepared in line with the gains of the life studies course on primary school students in grade 3. The design of the study, which was conducted using qualitative research methods, was an outcome-oriented evaluation study. The study included 20 students of the 3rd grade of primary school, and an intervention was carried out with the students for a total of 5 weeks. The data of the study were collected through student diaries and semi-structured interviews. The findings of the research, derived from descriptive data analysis, focused on three main issues. These are; students' knowledge and experience of the concept of technology, students' knowledge and experience of the safe use of technology, students' knowledge and experience of the use of technology for design purposes. The results of the study showed that the safe use of technology training based on infographics provided students with a more holistic perspective on the concept of technology. The training enabled students to extend their existing knowledge about the safe use of technology. Students were most aware of protecting their physical health when using technology. In addition, students had the opportunity to enrich their previous knowledge about the concept of design with experiences in line with the safe use of technology training based on infographics.
