Üçüncü asırda Abbasi edebiyatı nesirde zirveye çıkmış, fakat bu durum hiçbir zaman şiiri gölgelememiş, aksine nesir sanatının gelişimiyle
birlikte klasik Arap şiiri de parlak bir dönem yaşamıştır. Çünkü Abbasi
devletinin farklı coğrafyalarda emirliklere bölünmesi edebî alanda özellikle de şiirde herhangi bir kısırlığa yol açmamış aksine şiir unsurlarının
farklılık arz ederek daha da gelişme göstermesine neden olmuştur. Çünkü Buveyhîler, Sâmânîler, Ziyârîler ve Tâhirîler gibi İran ve Türk asıllı
Emirlikler bir yandan kendi aralarında, bir yandan da hilafet merkezi
olan Bağdat ile edebî ve kültürel alanda bir tür rekabete girişmişler, bu
ise dönemin edebî aktivitelerine olumlu bir şekilde yansımış ve Arap
şiirinin zenginleşmesine katkı sunmuştur. Üstelik bu dönemde Fars kökenli şairlerin Arapça şiir söylemiş olmaları Arap şiirinin konu ve içerik
bakımından daha farklı bir eğilim kazanmasına vesile olmuştur.
The third Abbasid century, includes the process of transition to the
Emirates and small states from the the Central Caliphate in Baghdad
between the years of 945 and 1055 Buveyhies in Baghdad who ruled for
nearly 60 years and Hamdanies who distinguished in the Syrian territory and some of the other Emirates has marked the third period of the
Abbasids and represented the Abbasid civilization.
Abbasid prose literature in the third century made it to the summit,
but hissituation never has been shaded the poem. On the contrary, along
with the development of the art of prose, classical Arabic poetry has
experienced a brilliant period. Because Iranian and Turkish origin Emirates such as the Buveyhi, Samanids, Ziyaries and Tahiries had launched
a kind of competition in the field of literary and cultural and this situation has reflected a positive manner in the literary activities of the period and contribution to the enrichment of Arabic poetry presented. Moreover, in this period Arabic poetry poets of Persian origin earlier, has
been instrumental in gaining a different trend in terms of subject and
content of Arabic poetry.
