Özet
This study aims to comprehensively evaluate the current state of apiculture literature through a bibliometric analysis of scientific publications indexed in the Web of Science database between 2000 and 2043. The bibliometric analysis utilized indicators such as publication counts, citation relationships, keyword co-occurrences, co-citation networks, and co-authorship analyses. Research materials included articles, theses, conference proceedings, and other scientific publications published in national and international academic databases. Reliable and comprehensive databases, particularly the Web of Science, were utilized during the data collection process. These databases were chosen to comprehensively compile the extensive research conducted in the field of beekeeping. In identifying the literature used in the research, keywords such as "beekeeping," "beekeeping management," "beekeeping practices," "honey production," and "sustainable beekeeping" were used. Additionally, subheadings such as "temporary beekeeping," "permanent beekeeping," "organic beekeeping," "beekeeper training," and "beekeeper economic impacts" were included to focus on specific beekeeping topics. This enabled a comprehensive literature review covering various aspects of beekeeping. Themes such as "sustainable beekeeping," "honey production," and "climate change" emerged as dominant topics, highlighting apiculture not only as an agricultural activity but also as a strategic tool for ecosystem conservation and rural development. This study provides valuable insights into future research directions and interdisciplinary collaborations in apiculture research.
