This study examines the experiences, emotions and expectations of parents of children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) in fostering an inclusive society. This study aims to investigate how families of children with ASD perceive and experience inclusive practices and societal attitudes. Qualitative data were collected from 10 families in T & uuml;rkiye through diaries for two months and semi-structured interviews. The findings reveal key barriers, including societal stigma, insufficient educator training, and resource limitations, which impede inclusive education. Emotionally, families confront grief, resilience, and hope, often drawing strength from cultural and spiritual practices. They call for social empathy, equitable education access, and long-term support to enable independence for their children. The study contributes to social exclusion theory and urges policymakers and educators to implement reforms promoting equity, empathy, and sustainable inclusion.
