Incoherent scattering differential cross sections have been experimentally studied for 59.5 keV photons in the angular range 36 degrees-135 degrees by 4.5 degrees degree angular increments for the elements In, Au and Pb by using a Ge(Li) detector. The experimental values have been compared with those estimated on the basis of the nonrelativistic Hartree-Fock wave functions. Background correction and detection efficiency are also included in this study.
