Özet
This article examines the impact of digital technologies on artistic production, focusing particularly on the reinterpretation of the concept of “ready-made” in the context of photography. Digitalization has fundamentally transformed both the creative processes and production tools of photographers and artists, reshaping traditional artistic practices. While ready-made is traditionally understood as an element of an artwork, as pioneered by Duchamp, in the digital age, this concept has expanded to include elements such as digital image banks, 3D modeling, and visuals created using artificial intelligence. The article emphasizes that the use of ready-made in the digital environment, while increasing the possibilities of artistic expression, also brings with it discussions of originality, creativity, and ethics, as in the first examples of ready-made. Additionally, it discusses how photography and art can create more innovative visual narratives with the unlimited resources available on digital platforms and the contributions of this process to meaning production in art.
