This paper includes a reply to the comment suggested by Kahya [Emin Kahya, Comment on titled "An improvement on Fibonacci search method in optimization theory"]. Kahya claims that he proposes some corrections for some deficiencies of the paper [Murat Subasi, Necmettin Yildirim, Bunyamin Yildiz, An improvement on Fibonacci search method in optimization theory, Applied Mathematics and Computation 147 (2004) 893-901]. Here, we prove that in Kahya's suggestions there is no novelty and so, they are not contributional. (C) 2006 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
