It is generally a challenging intellectual process to choose the most appropriate product since it requires a vast amount of time and expertise. Product selection is also a group decision-making process under multiple criteria in a fuzzy environment. Generally, the evaluation of alternative products may be based on the imprecise information due to the lack of knowledge among customers. However, criteria are tightly dependent on each other. This paper aims to propose a new fuzzy hybrid MCDM-ZOGP approach for product selection considering the dependence among criteria under a fuzzy environment. In this approach, Fuzzy DEMATEL is used to compute the weights of evaluation criteria, which constitute the input for fuzzy VIKOR&GRA method used to prioritize the product alternatives. Such priorities are used to formulate a ZOGP model. An empirical study for optical fiber cable selection is given to illustrate an application of the proposed model. This comparative study revealed that the proposed approach is reliable and efficient to select the best product alternatives
