Özet

This review examines Mirjam Zimmermann’s “Kindertheologie als theologische Kompetenz von Kindern”. The book positions child theology not merely as a pedagogical approach but as an academic discipline that acknowledges and systematizes children’s theological competence. By categorizing children’s utterances into linguistic, narrative, historical, dogmatic, and hermeneutical dimensions, Zimmermann provides a rigorous framework for analyzing their theological contributions. Combining theoretical reflection, methodological innovation, and empirical analysis, the book demonstrates the significance of children’s theological thinking for both academic theology and religious education.
