Özet

Milk, which takes an important place for nutrition and health, is considered to be a rich source in terms of natural bioactive components. Bioactive milk components included in the class of secondary metabolites have many beneficial effects on human health such as weight control, heart health, bone development and supporting the immune system. They also play a significant role in the prevention of many diseases, such as cancer, diabetes and obesity. In recent years, the studies and consumer interest in bioactive components have gradually increased around the world. Information about the components that are naturally present in milk and the effects of these components on human health was given in this review study.
