The triglyceride levels were 1.35 and 1.16-fold lower in theB. vulgarisL. andB. aristataL.-treated groups versus the controls. Glucose was 0.96 and 0.54 folds lower in theB. vulgarisL. andB. aristataL.-treated groups versus the control groups, respectively Conclusion B. vulgarisL. andB. aristataL. have beneficial effects in patients with metabolic syndrome.
