Özet

This article deals with the grammatical form of phrases. Three main ways of linking words in a phrase in Russian and Azerbaijani are given. And also, it is said about the scheme of analysis of phrases, a comparative study of the syntactic structures of simple and complex substantive phrases of two languages, the identification of their common and distinctive features, which determine, in general, the typological specifics of the agglutinative Azerbaijani and inflectional Russian languages. The ways of grammatical connection of words in the Russian and Azerbaijani languages are systematized in such a way as to best identify their equivalents in the Azerbaijani language; typological correspondences of each type of subordinating connection of words in the phrase in the Russian and Azerbaijani languages were revealed in accordance with a different view on the typological picture of the types of connection in the Russian and Azerbaijani languages.
