Brown tumors represent the terminal stage of the bone remodeling process during primary and secondary hyperparathyroidism. A clinical diagnosis of this tumor is made with the finding of hyperparathyroidism. While the mandible is the most frequently involved bone in the head and neck region, maxillary involvement is extremely rare. We report a rare case of Brown tumor arising from both the maxilla and the mandible of a patient with hyperparathyroidism by multidetector computerized tomography.
