The dissolution kinetics of Mazidag1 phosphate ore in HNO3 solutions has been investigated by the rotating disc method. The effects of temperature and disc rotation speed have been examined in the ranges 3-18 degrees C, and 200-900 rpm respectively. The global dissolution rates have been found to be first order with respect to H+ and the activation energy has been calculated as 99.5 kJ/mol.
