Analysis of Affecting the Factors over Fish Meat Consumption Tendency: The Case of Hakkari Province

Özet

The aim of this study is to determine status, tendency and factors influence on consumption of fish meat in Hakkari province. In the study, the survey were conducted with 202 households and data analyzed to using logistic regression method. Influenced factors on fish consumption trend were age, the state of being in the central district, education level, the status of the easy supply of fish meat, consumption frequency of fish, situation of fishing and aware of the situation about balanced and healthy nourishment. Making of the study is required about the importance of fish consumption and for the mobilization of existing aquaculture potential on the importance of fish consumption in the region.
