The information given in the Ottoman archive documents on Nusairis of Adana, Tarsus and Mersin are examined in this article. The main sources of this research includes the documents and official letters between central administration (Vice Presidency, Foreign Affairs Office, National Education Office), regional administration (Governor, Mayor, Director of Education), and foreign consulates (American Ambassador and Mersin Consulate). The method of this investigation is the transcription of these documents and their result evaluation. The way of look and the treatment of central State Administration, the activities of missionaries towards this society, living in above mentioned areas, are examined in the light of these evaluations. The activities of the missionaries and the relations of Nusairis with them are especially reflected in this article.
